Nuovo libro in uscita

La cultura del cibo e l’enogastronomia sono ormai fattori rilevanti nelle aspettative e nelle motivazioni dei viaggiatori; sono punto di incontro tra l’autenticità di un territorio e il turi- sta desideroso di proposte genuine, partecipative e strettamente collegate alle specificità locali. Cibo e vino sono in grado di promuovere una destinazione e le pratiche turistiche ad essi connesse hanno un deciso impatto sull’economia, sull’occupazione e sul patrimonio locale, oltre che definire uno specifico mercato.

I dati confermano che le nuove tendenze del turismo non prescindono dall’enogastrono- mia e da prodotti turistici che valorizzano esperienze autentiche, itinerari creativi, sosteni- bilità. L’enogastronomia rappresenta un’opportunità per stimolare e diversificare il turismo, promuovendo uno sviluppo economico locale, coinvolgendo diversi settori commerciali e includendo nuovi approcci.

Il tema centrale di questo volume è il prodotto turistico: cosa cerca il turista attuale? Quali caratteristiche deve avere una offerta appetibile? Come organizzare la destinazione? In Italia a che punto siamo? Come sono strutturati il prodotto e l’offerta nel nostro Paese? Quali sono le migliori pratiche italiane e straniere? Questo volume vuole rispondere a que- ste domande e proporre una ricetta di sviluppo per il nostro Paese, che abbinando enoga- stronomia, turismo e arte può trovare nuovo slancio competitivo e valorizzare al meglio gli asset strategici.
