Economics and management of tourism enterprises. Second Edition.

In this second edition, the volume provides a broad overview of the main types of tourism businesses updated to the significant changes in the economic and legislative environment. Changes in the tourism sector are also analyzed, including in particular the rise of the online market and the growth of non-hotel supply.

Divided into three parts, the handbook consists of 10 chapters. After an introductory section of a theoretical nature, the most significant types of enterprises that have emerged over the years in the fields of supply and intermediation are addressed. The framework of the treatment leads to approaching the subject of the tourism enterprise from perspectives of system complexity, encouraging a critical and not merely descriptive approach to the problems of the industry.

In addition to undergraduate tourism science students, the text is also aimed at industry professionals interested in getting an up-to-date picture of the subject.
